Mark Lee Wins in Sanford, NC & sets National Record
Lee & Lane take top spots at LCMMC ALL-STAR Nationals
The weather was hot and so was the action at the LeeCounty Mud Motorsports Complex in Sanford, NC . The adjusted altitude at race time was above 3800ft, but that did not stop the records to be set in “HILL & HOLE” and PROBADD flat track mud racing at the first annual LCMMC ALL-STAR SERIES Nationals.

Mark “the Shark” Lee ran a 1.946, in “PURE ENERGY”, to take the win and set the 160ft PROBADD National Record. Mark also took the second place spot in “TIME BANDIT”, with an E.T. of 2.006, barely holding off current point’s leader Mike “FastLane” Lane in “ATTITUDE”, who clocked an E.T. of 2.007, to place third. Mike also took fourth place in “WILD CHERRY”, with an E.T of 2.069.
Scott Snarski, in the “PAPERBOY EXPRESS”, placed fifth with an E.T. of 2.082 on his second pass, bettering his first pass of a 2.134. Mark O’Steen, coming off a win at the last ALL-STAR Series Nationals, placed “Dad’s DIRTY BIRD” in sixth with his second pass E.T. of 2.098 to his first pass of 2.180. Mark is currently sixth in National points.

Paul Wesinger & Scott Snarski "PAPERBOY EXPRESS"
In his first race of the year, with a new blower and fuel system in his “REALASTATE MOVER”, Mike Maurath had an E.T. of 2.626. After some adjusting, he ran an E.T. of 2.252 to place seventh. Jeff Goldizen placed his “GROUND POUNDER” in eighth place on his second pass, with an E.T. of 2.312.He scorched two pistons on his first pass, which was caused by fuel pump failure. Jeff is currently fifth in points.
Dan Richter, in his “RICHTER SCALE”, ran an E.T. of 2.461, despite engine failure, and was not able to return for his second pass. This was also Dan’s first race with a new setup. Jamie Boyd, also with a new setup, started to dial it in, making his first pass in “LETHAL INJECTION”, with an E.T. of 2.769. Jamie’s second pass was a 2.561. With a few more passes he will get it dialed in.
